Export Reviews from Amazon or from Etsy
If you own an Amazon store and have a .csv file containing your reviews, you can easily import these Amazon reviews into your Shopify store using Judge.me or Loox.
Export Your Amazon Reviews
- Download the Chrome extension Amazon Reviews Exporter | CSV & Images.
Ensure you are logged into your Amazon merchant account. Navigate to the Amazon product page you wish to export reviews from, click on the extension, and download your reviews as a .csv file.
Import Reviews into Judge.me
Step 1. Go to Judge.me app
-
From your Judge.me admin, go to Manage Reviews, then click on the Import & Export button on the top right.
-
Go to the Import from e-commerce platforms section, then select Amazon and click Import.
-
Upload the .csv file of Amazon reviews.
-
Select the product you want to import or import these reviews as store reviews.
-
Click Import reviews.
Note: According to Judge.me’s policies, imported reviews should be genuine and you should have permission to use them.
Import Reviews into Loox
If you already have done step 1, you can import these reviews into Loox as well.
Go to Loox app
-
From your Loox admin, go to the Import Reviews section.
-
Click on the Import Reviews button.
-
Select the .csv file you downloaded from Amazon.
-

Import Reviews into Stamped.io
We assume you have already exported reviews from Amazon. Now, you can import these reviews into Stamped.io.
Go to Stamped.io app
-
From your Stamped.io admin, go to the Import Reviews section.
-
Click on the Import Reviews button.
-
Select the .csv file you downloaded from Amazon.
-
Click Import Reviews.
Import Reviews from Etsy to Shopify
If you are migrating from Etsy to Shopify or selling on both platforms, you can also import your Etsy reviews into your Shopify store.
Export Your Etsy Reviews
- Log into your Etsy seller account and navigate to Shop Manager > Reviews.
- Unfortunately, Etsy does not provide a native CSV export for reviews. You can use a third-party tool or manually copy reviews into a spreadsheet.
- Format the spreadsheet to match your chosen Shopify review app’s import template (each app has its own CSV format).
- Make sure to include the reviewer name, rating, review body, and date for each review.
Import Etsy Reviews Using Judge.me or Loox
Once you have your Etsy reviews in CSV format:
- Follow the same import steps as outlined above for Judge.me or Loox.
- Map the CSV columns to match the app’s required fields (product, rating, reviewer name, review body).
- Select the matching Shopify product for each imported review.
How to Import Reviews Without a Paid App
If you prefer not to use a paid review app, you can still add reviews to your Shopify store:
- Shopify’s built-in Product Reviews app (free) supports basic CSV imports. Install it from the Shopify App Store.
- Export your reviews from Amazon or Etsy as a CSV file.
- Format the CSV according to the Product Reviews app template:
product_handle, rating, title, author, email, body, created_at. - Import the CSV through the app’s settings page.
Note: The free Product Reviews app has limited features compared to Judge.me or Loox, but it works well for basic review displays.
Best Practices for Imported Reviews
When importing reviews from external platforms, keep these guidelines in mind:
- Only import genuine reviews that reflect real customer experiences with your products.
- Disclose the source if required by your local regulations (e.g., FTC guidelines in the US).
- Match reviews to the correct products to maintain credibility and avoid confusing shoppers.
- Include photos when possible, as reviews with images convert 3-5x better than text-only reviews.
- Respond to negative reviews after importing them to show customers you care about feedback.
